Converted from a vintage Victorian Taille d'Epargné piece, these two pendants are made from 14K gold and feature unique black enamel in a classic Victorian design
The pendant measures 21.2mm long (North South direction), 15.1mm wide (East West direction), and sits 5.8mm tall.

Taille d’épargne, sometimes referred to as black enamel, translates from the French literally as "saving cut". It is a variation of champlevé whereby engraved lines forming a design are incised into the metal and are filled with opaque enamel – usually black. This technique was popular during the 1850s, often used to decorate bracelets, watch cases, chatelaines, and mourning jewelry.
